Southridge's Ebony Eutsey wins in medley relay
Sprinter Ebony Eutsey, a five-time state champion from Miami Southridge, was part of the winning girls' medley relay team Sunday on the final day of the World Youth Games in Indianapolis.
Eutsey, who ended up earning Team USA's only individual girls' gold medal when she won the 400-meter dash Friday, teamed with Jordan Clark of Michigan, Ashton Purvis of California and Briana Nelson of South Carolina to win the relay in 2 minutes, 9.22 seconds, nearly five seconds faster than runner-up Hungary. Eutsey ran the anchor leg.
