Hollywood resident Anthony Coletti, a 2008 South Broward High School graduate, was selected by the Washington Nationals on Friday in the 47th round of the Major League Baseball Draft.
Coletti -- who has played as a pitcher, first baseman, outfielder and designated hitter -- batted .430 this season. As a junior last season, the 6-2, 180-pound left-hander was a Miami Herald All-Broward first-team selection. He signed with Palm Beach Community College.

SOCCER Miami FC 0, Rochester 0: Despite an injury-plagued roster, Miami FC played to its second 0-0 result Saturday on the road against the Rochester (N.Y.) Rhinos.
Blues coach Zinho fielded new signees Bruno Menezes, former New England Revolution and Puerto Rico Islanders forward Willie Sims and Leo Inecio.
Rhinos forward Matthew Delicate caused problems for Miami defenders as he threatened from the air and on the ground.
In the 24th minute, league-leading goal scorer Alex Afonso missed an opportunity when he shot straight at Rochester keeper Scott Vallow. Six minutes later, Johnny Menyonger had a shot that looked on target, but John Pulido deflected it for a corner.
Close to the break, Menyonger's header missed the target again from close range as Josh Saunders was caught off his line.
Both teams tested their luck with long-range shots that went high and wide. Miami FC's next game is at home Tuesday against the Bradenton Academics.
