Monarch boys' soccer team prevails over Northeast
The Monarch boys' soccer team defeated Northeast 4-3 on Thursday.
Felipe Nascimento led the Knights (12-3-1) with a goal and two assists.
Jefferson Dias had one goal and one assist. Gilvam dos Santos had one goal.

Pines Charter 2, McArthur 1: Troy Prendergast and Pablo Amad led the Jaguars (15-2-1) with goals.
Wednesday -- St. Thomas Aquinas 3, Hollywood Hills 1: Leading the way for the Raiders (9-2-3, 5-1) was Derrick D'amico with two goals. Richard Debrigard also scored a goal.
Wednesday -- Pine Crest 7, Coral Springs Charter 1: Matt O'Connor, Alec Neita and Gio Freitas each scored two goals to lead the Panthers (11-3-2).
Wednesday -- Nova 5, Stranahan 1: Roberto Desousa led Nova (9-6-2) with two goals. Abner Osorto and Abraham Peschitz both contributed one goal.
Wednesday -- Sagemont 8, Posnak 0: Blake Martinez led the Lions (8-3-1) with three goals. Alfredo Yanes, Haseeb Khan and Callum Thomas each had a goal.
Miami Country Day 4, Archbishop Curley 2: Patrick Ferreira led the Spartans (10-1-1) with two goals and two assists. Quinton Watson had a goal and an assist. Tyrone Serrao added a goal.
Wednesday -- Goleman 3, Hialeah Miami Lakes 1: Kevin Areana led the Gators (8-3) with one goal and two assists. Tony Quiroz and Fernado Bedoya both contributed one goal and one assist.
Wednesday -- MAST 2, Hialeah Gardens 1: Ben Ketchum and Christopher Delbeck led the Makos (4-6) with a goal each.
Tuesday -- Ferguson 3, Coral Gables 0: Randolph Amaya had one goal. Stevie Saballos had two assists. Juan Dorado had his ninth shutout. Fer 11-0-2.
