    Brito Miami ends baseball title drought with rout in Class 2A state title game

    After winning five state titles in a 10-year span from 1996-06, eight years without one must have seemed like an eternity for the Brito Miami Private baseball program. But that drought came to a resounding end late Tuesday afternoon.

Brito Miami pitcher Marco Bolano brought his "A" game and enjoyed solid defense and hitting from his teammates as they easily defeated Trinity Christian 8-0 to win the Class 2A state baseball semifinal game Monday, May 19, 2014 during the 2013-14 FHSAA Baseball Championships in JetBlue Park, Fort Myers, FL.
