Southwest gets little resistance from Coral Park

Trevon Sands and DeUndre Pickett-White each scored four touchdowns as Southwest rolled over Coral Park for a season-opening win at Tropical Park.
Sands scored three of his touchdowns in the first quarter. Southwest’s first offensive play was a 16-yard touchdown pass to Sands from Pickett-White. Sands added two more scores on short runs.
“This is only the beginning,” said Sands, who finished with 130 rushing yards on eight carries. “We are trying to win district and take it to the next level and win in the playoffs.”
Pickett-White passed for three touchdowns and added a 48-yard touchdown run.
