Coral Gables first team All-Dade running back Gregory Howell signed with Florida Atlantic University Wednesday morning.
"I got a great vibe from FAU," said Howell, who rushed for 1,567 yards and 13 touchdowns in his senior season. "FAU stuck with me throughout my junior, spring and senior year."
All-Dade first team athlete Antiwone Johnson and kicker Daniel Hernandez both signed with Glenville State College. Johnson was a special teams standout and returned 5 kicks for touchdowns and accumulated 1,500 total yards. While he did not sign, second team All-Dade defense selection Nathaniel Nicolas also plans to attend Glenville State College.
All-Dade first team defensive back Mark Wynn did not sign on Wednesday and is not currently academically eligible.
