Two years removed from a win-less season, the Ferguson girls’ basketball team is at 6-0 after a 62-59 win on Thursday against an elite Broward County program in Sagemont.

“We are a team on the rise,” said coach Gabriel Lazo after the program’s biggest win in recent history.

Annie Osceola led the way for the Falcons with 22 points while Nachalie DeJesus added 20 points. The duo played a huge role late in the game when their captain, Tabitha Gonzalez, fouled out despite scoring 13 points.
