Champagnat routs Archbishop Carroll

Champagnat Catholic secured another first for its program, clinching its first perfect regular season with a rout of host Archbishop Carroll. The Lions (10-0) were led by Kato Nelson, who completed all eight of his passes for 221 yards and four touchdowns.
Steven Claude caught three passes for 90 yards and two touchdowns. Michael Frederick had six carries for 141 yards and two touchdowns. Antoine Webster returned a fumble for a touchdown.
The game was called at the end of the third quarter.
Champagnat will host Delray Beach Village Academy in a Region 4-2A semifinal next Friday at the Ansin Sports Complex in Miramar at 7:30 p.m.
