Maurice Alexander throws for five TDs in Homestead’s win over Edison

Homestead’s victory was led by quarterback Maurice Alexander as the Broncos used an all-out aerial attack. Alexander had five passing touchdowns to lead the Broncos (5-3) over the Red Raiders (1-7).

Alexander led the Broncos with 141 yards passing, going 10 for 19.

The Broncos defense only allowed 12 positive yards in the first half.

The defense also registered 10 sacks and had an interception.

Senior Gilbert Johnson led all wide receivers with two touchdowns, 45 yards and a halfback toss for a 2-point conversion.
