Hialeah-Miami Lakes spoiled Mourning’s homecoming game with a victory Thursday at North Miami stadium.

After giving up back-to-back safeties in the first quarter, the Trojans (1-6, 1-3) scored on a 61-yard pass from Keanu Brown to Isaiah Small, who later returned a 60-yard interception to take a 13-10 lead.

But the Sharks (3-3, 1-2) answered back with a 70-yard interception return of their own by Ricardo Luvell.

In the fourth, the Trojans receiver Kendrick Janvier sealed the victory with a 47-yard touchdown run.

Mourning had the ball and a chance to take the lead with less than two minutes remaining but turned the ball over on downs.
