South Florida All-Americans to be honored

Under Armour and U.S. Army officials with be making their way to South Florida in the coming weeks to present several top athletes in the area with All-American honors.

Here is an updated and tentative list of presentations scheduled for the Under Armour All-America game at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg on Jan. 2:

•  Wednesday, Oct. 2: Palm Beach Central offensive tackle Kc McDermott (Miami ), 2 p.m.
•  Friday, Oct. 4: West Palm Beach Cardinal Newman wide receiver Travis Rudolph (uncommitted with interest in Florida State, Miami, Florida, Ohio State and Tennessee), 11:15 a.m.
•  Tuesday, Oct. 8: Fort Lauderdale St. Thomas Aquinas wide receiver Corey Holmes (Notre Dame), 11 a.m.
