Kama Barnes scored three touchdowns and total 80 yards to lead the Patriots to the win over the Wildcats in Hialeah.

After the teams traded scores in the first quarter, Barnes was able to find the end zone midway through the second from 6 yards out.

Just before halftime, quarterback Ed Crouch found Barnes for a 47-yard catch and run for a touchdown to give the Patriots the 22-6 lead.

The Patriots then forced three fumbles on the next three Wildcat drives, all leading to touchdowns. Coach Corey Bell said it was good to see his team answer the call in the second half after its lethargic start.

“We wanted to make sure we came out and set the tone early and it sparked us to the victory,” Bell said.

The Patriots sealed the win when Karon Jackson returned a punt 70 yards back for yards back for a touchdown.
