Luke Ashworth and Ethan Cairns, Western, boys’ golf: Ashworth and Cairns finished fourth and fifth, respectively, to help the Wildcats win the Region 8-3A title.

Daniella Rapaglia, Flanagan, girls’ volleyball: Rapaglia had 20 digs and 17 kills to help the Falcons (15-7) defeat Miami Beach in three sets for the Region 4-8A title.
Tori Bien, University School, girls’ golf: The seventh-grade sensation shot 77 to win the Region 8-1A title.
Jason Collins, Dillard, football: Collins ran for a touchdown and threw the game-tying and game-winning touchdowns to help the Panthers (5-4) shock previously undefeated Monarch 22-16 in three overtimes.
Tsion Yared, Pine Crest, girls’ cross-country: The seventh-grade standout set a new Middle School cross-country state Championship meet record by clocking 10:39.00.
Kelley Heron, Pines Charter, girls’ swimming: The freshman sensation won the 200 IM, the 100 backstroke and led the runner-up 200 medley and 400 freestyle relay teams to help the Jaguars finish second at the Region 4-3A championships.
Ryan Szklany and Trace Johnson, Highlands Christian, boys’ cross-country: Szklany and Johnson went 2-4 to help the Knights win the District 14-1A boys’ team title.
Roe Farris, Coral Springs Charter, football: Farris scored the go-ahead touchdown on a 2-yard run in the fourth quarter as the visiting Panthers beat Westminster Academy 21-7 in the Southeastern Football Conference semifinals.
Annika Mursten, Megan Hutchinson and Emilia Thom, Douglas, girls’ cross country: The Douglas trio went 1-2-3 to help the Eagles win the District 12-4A team title.
