Flanagan quarterback Ryan Stanley completed 18 of 27 passes for 273 yards and two touchdowns in a win over Stranahan at South Plantation field. The game was the season opener for both teams.
Falcons wide receiver Emonee Spence caught five passes for 109 yards and both of Stanley’s touchdowns. Spence’s scores went for 13 and 50 yards respectively.
Running back Arkeem Granger rushed for 108 yards and also scored twice, on runs of 2 and 29 yards.
Stranahan had some problems snapping the football on special teams, and that led to two Flanagan touchdowns in the second quarter.
