Coral Springs Charter (8-1) overcame a sluggish start to knock off Archbishop Curley (4-5) in the quarterfinals of the Southeastern Football Conference playoffs at Coral Glades.
Joe McChrystal threw for 167 yards and three touchdowns and rushed for 157 yards and a touchdown on 19 carries as the Panthers overcame a 14-0 first-quarter deficit.
Sophomore running back Kalen Carson helped the Panthers rally. His 23-yard touchdown run late in the first got the Panthers on the board.
Carson then gave CSC the lead on a 51-yard touchdown run late in the first half when he broke a couple of tackles cut across the field for an incredible touchdown run that gave them a 21-14 lead.
