American Heritage cruises to win vs. Key West

American Heritage (7-1, 2-0) dominated Key West (0-7, 0-2) in a District 5A-16 contest Friday night.

Junior quarterback Torrance Gibson led the way for the Patriots with 123 passing yards and two touchdowns, as well as 113 yards rushing.

Senior running back Sony Michel contributed with 122 rushing yards and two touchdowns.

Key West struck quickly to tie the game at 7 early in the first quarte, but failed to get on the scoreboard for the rest of the night.

Heritage heads into the bye week and will prepare for its district matchup at Cardinal Gibbons.
