Deerfield Beach rallies, defeats Monarch in overtime

Brandon Powell scored on a 2-yard run to give the Deerfield Beach Bucks an overtime win over the Monarch Knights in front of a sellout crowd of 4,500 at Coconut Creek High School.
Trailing in the second half, Danarious Graham brought the Bucks back with a pair of touchdown passes, using his elusiveness to keep plays alive.
Deerfield Beach controlled the second half with a balance running attack of Aeron McNeal and Brandon Powell. A 51-yard run by Powell gave the Bucks full control with 21 unanswered points. Monarch responded in the fourth quarter when Michael Harris scored on a 1-yard run to tie and send it into overtime.
