The South Plantation Paladins kept their district title hopes alive with the victory against visiting Coral Glades on Friday.

The next two weeks will determine district and postseason fate for South Plantation (5-2, 4-1 Dist. 11-8A) as it faces district rivals Monarch and Deerfield Beach.

A pair of wins would give them the district title, and one win would put them in position for a postseason berth.

Junior quarterback Mike Mele threw for 154 yards and three scores to lead the South Plantation. And

Linebacker Fitzroy Nairne had a pair of sacks and a fumble recovery for the Paladin defense.
