Cooper City (3-5) overpowered Western (0-7) to win its homecoming game Friday night.
Cooper City running backs Jarrett Morgan and Zach Tasse combined for 213 yards and four touchdowns on the ground. Quarterback Quest Hopler only needed to throw nine times thanks to the bruising duo.
Western running back Brayon Parrish rushed for 56 yards, including a 44-yard touchdown in the middle of the third quarter for the Wildcats’ first score of the game.
“We played good enough to win,” said Cooper City coach Brandon Walker. “We’re happy that we got the victory.”
