Peyton Bender was 21 of 31 with 273 passing yards and five passing touchdowns in a Cardinal Gibbons blowout of Northeast (1-3) on Friday.
The Washington State recruit connected with the Louisville commit, George Rushing, 10 times for 115 yards and three touchdowns to keep the Chiefs (5-0) unbeaten.
“I think the offense played well,” Bender said. “George and I have good chemistry. We throw a lot on the weekends and in the offseason. We really worked on our timing.”
