From the opening kick, Miramar controlled the tempo as the Patriots held Western to 16 yards of total offense and forced four turnovers as Miramar (5-0, 2-0 District 12-8A) routed host Western 49-0 in Davie.

Miramar quarterback Nick Jeanty threw for 140 yards and three touchdown in the win.

Miramar wasted little time to capitalize on a Western (0-5, 0-2 District 12-8A) mistake. On the second play of the game, a high snap by the Wildcats was recovered by Miramar.

Three plays later, Jeanty connected with wide receiver Kwasim West for a 10-yard touchdown to give the Patriots an early 7-0 lead.
