Miramar Patriots cruise past Western

From the opening kick, Miramar controlled the tempo as the Patriots held Western to 16 yards of total offense and forced four turnovers as Miramar (5-0, 2-0 District 12-8A) routed host Western 49-0 in Davie.

Miramar quarterback Nick Jeanty threw for 140 yards and three touchdown in the win.

Miramar wasted little time to capitalize on a Western (0-5, 0-2 District 12-8A) mistake. On the second play of the game, a high snap by the Wildcats was recovered by Miramar.

Three plays later, Jeanty connected with wide receiver Kwasim West for a 10-yard touchdown to give the Patriots an early 7-0 lead.
