Tyberius Horne passed and rushed for a total of 344 yards to lead North Miami to a 30-14 victory over Miami Beach Friday night at Memorial Field.
"I was just trying to make plays and put points on the scoreboard. We had too many penalties, but will come back and work on that on Monday," Horne said.
Horne's only touchdown came on a 57-yard pass to Alvin Johnson III in the third quarter.
North Miami's big numbers were not all positive as the Pioneers were penalized 25 times for 243 yards.
The longest touchdown of the game came on a 93-yard interception return by Miami Beach's Davenson Cadet.
