Sloan joins Rodriguez in Nova Scotia lead

Halifax, NS( - Roger Sloan fired a 6-under 65 on Friday to join Jose de Jesus Rodriguez in the lead after two rounds of the inaugural Nova Scotia Open.

Rodriguez, the first-round leader, carded a 2-under 69 in round two. The duo ended 36 holes at 10-under-par 132. Sloan and Rodriguez both have wins on the PGA Tour Canada, but neither has won on the Tour.

Zack Sucher (66) and David Skinns (70) share third place at minus-7 at Ashburn Golf Club.

John Mallinger and Derek Fathauer both posted 5-under 66s on Friday. They moved into fifth place at 6-under-par 136, where they stand alongside Garrett Osborn (69), Peter Tomasulo (68), Henrik Norlander (70) and Jose Toledo (67).
