HOUSTON WIDE RECEIVERS VS. DOLPHINS SECONDARY

• Who won: Houston receivers.

• Impact: It wasn't just Andre Johnson, 178 yards and one touchdown on 10 catches, who bruised the Dolphins. Actually, Johnson was better covered most of the day than were Kevin Walter (four catches, 98 yards) and tight end Owen Daniels (four catches, 70 yards), who roamed unescorted through the Dolphins secondary all day.

DOLPHINS SPECIAL TEAMS VS. HOUSTON RETURNERS

• Who won: Houston returners.

• Impact: Andre Davis averaged 28.4 yards per return on his five kickoff returns and set up a field goal with his 50-yard runback. That would agitate special teams coaches enough. But throw in Jacoby Jones' 70-yard punt return touchdown where he had to dodge or break only two tackles and you have a combination that could leave a coach sick.

PATRICK COBBS VS. HOUSTON DEFENSE

• Who won: Cobbs.

• Impact: On Cobbs' two touchdowns, it seemed the Texans lost the 5-8 running back. Out of the Wildcat formation, Cobbs lined up as a receiver, then broke deep for a 53-yard TD. Cobbs' second TD came after he went in motion and came back. By the time the Texans saw Cobbs, it was too late.
