Pats add OL LeVoir, WR Tate to active roster

The Sports Network

The New England Patriots added offensive lineman Mark LeVoir and wide receiver Brandon Tate to the active roster in preparation for Sunday's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in London.

LeVoir was activated from the reserve/physically unable to perform list and could see action Sunday with starting left tackle Matt Light out for a second straight game due to a knee injury. The 6-7, 310-pounder played in every game last season for New England, starting twice at right tackle.

Tate was brought off the reserve/non-football injury list and could also see time against the Bucs with wideout Julian Edelman out with a broken forearm.

The rookie receiver was selected in the third round (83rd overall) of this year's draft out of North Carolina and has yet to see an NFL snap.

Tate was still recovering from surgery to repair a torn ACL and MCL in his right knee that ended his senior season after just six games. The explosive 6-1, 195-pounder is the NCAA career leader in combined kick return yardage.
