Denver Broncos quarterback Kyle Orton, Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker James Harrison and Cleveland Browns punter Dave Zastudil have been selected as the AFC's top players for Week 5 of the NFL season.
Orton took home offensive honors as he completed 35-of-48 passes for 330 yards with two touchdowns and one interception in the Broncos' 20-17 overtime win against New England. Orton's touchdown tosses capped drives of 98 and 90 yards, respectively. The victory gave Denver it's first 5-0 start in 11 seasons. In his fifth year out of Purdue, this is his first weekly award.
Harrison captured the defensive award after registering eight tackles, three sacks and one forced fumble in a 28-20 win over the Detroit Lions. It marks the third POW award for the sixth-year linebacker from Kent State.
Zastudil garnered special teams accolades for his tremendous effort in Cleveland's 6-3 win over Buffalo. Of his nine punts that totaled 386 yards, seven were placed inside the 20-yard line. He became the first punter to record seven or more punts inside the 20 since Jacksonville's Bryan Barker did it eight times against Baltimore on November 14, 1999.
