WWE (NYSE: WWE) announced that Sting will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame at a ceremony on Saturday, April 2 at American Airlines Center in Dallas as part of WrestleMania Week.
Sting is one of the biggest Superstars in the history of the sports entertainment industry and a multi-time WCW and United States champion. For more than 10 years, he was the face of WCW, competing in memorable rivalries against Ric Flair, Steve Austin, Cactus Jack (Mick Foley), Vader, The Four Horsemen and nWo.
In November 2014, Sting made his long-awaited debut in WWE and had his first-ever WrestleMania match against Triple H at WrestleMania 31 in 2015 at Levi’s Stadium, home of the NFL’s San Francisco 49ers in Santa Clara, Calif.
“We are truly honored to have Sting take his rightful place in the WWE Hall of Fame,” said WWE’s Executive Vice President of Talent, Live Events and Creative Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque. “His contributions to our industry are unprecedented, and we look forward to celebrating his incredible career with fans all over the world.”

Tickets for the 2016 WWE Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony go on sale Friday, Jan. 15 at 10 a.m. Eastern/9 a.m. Central through all Ticketmaster outlets,

The Royal Rumble, one of WWE’s biggest shows, is Sunday, Jan. 24 at Orlando’s Amway Center, home of the NBA Orlando Magic.

Available on WWE Network, the Royal Rumble drop kicks-off the Road to WrestleMania with the winner of the 30-man battle royal winning the WWE World title and being featured at WrestleMania 32 on Sunday, April 3 at AT&T Stadium in Dallas.

WWE Monday Night Raw in Miami is the night after the Royal Rumble.
The AmericanAirlines Arena, home of the three-time NBA champion Miami Heat, will host Raw’s big show on Monday, Jan. 25. It will be broadcast live on the USA Network.

WWE will be at the Germain Arena, home of the Florida Everblades hockey team, for a super house show (no TV) on Saturday, Jan. 23 in Estero/Fort Myers. Bell time is 7:30 p.m.
WWE visits the Amalie Arena, home of the NHL Tampa Bay Lightning, on Tuesday, Jan. 26 in Tampa for a SmackDown TV taping. Bell time is 7 p.m.
SmackDown is 8 p.m. Thursdays on the USA Network.
