2K welcomed media from around the world to the WWE Performance Center in Orlando for the unveiling of MyCareer mode in the upcoming “WWE 2K15” video game.
The game’s lead designer Ramelle Ballesca went through details of the feature.
WWE Executive Vice President (Talent/Live Events/Creative) Paul “Triple H” Levesque and WWE NXT Head Trainer Bill DeMott also spoke during the outstanding presentation, which was emceed by WWE commentator Michael Cole. WWE superstar Bray Wyatt made a surprise appearance before DeMott took attendees on a tour of the state-of-the-art facility.
Wyatt, Cesaro, Bo Dallas, Sami Zayn, Corey Graves and NXT champion Adrian Neville then participated in an interview session with the national and international press. Journalists also had an opportunity to play some of the MyCareer mode before being bused to Full Sail University, home of Full Sail Live where WWE NXT shows are broadcast live and taped for WWE Network.
Travelers were given a walk-through of the school’s impressive departments and property by Full Sail President Garry Jones, Full Sail Program Director/Sports Marketing & Media Joshua Mora, Full Sail Industry Outreach Liason-Game Studies/Career Development Rob Coble, Full Sail Program Director/Visual Arts Rick Ramsey and WWE Executive Vice President of Special Events John Saboor. Full Sail and WWE have a very good working relationship.
Students at Full Sail learn from and work with the WWE production team at NXT shows at Full Sail Live, which is also state-of-the-art. The set resembles Raw or SmackDown, giving NXT superstars and divas a feel of what to expect when they land on the main roster for the main shows. WWE also provides scholarships to deserving students who assist at the shows.
The trip concluded with the media invited to attend the NXT television tapings at Full Sail Live. The event was a great showcase of the wealth of talent currently on the brand’s roster.
