Garcia KOs Salka; Peterson wins with TKO

Brooklyn, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - Danny Garcia remained unbeaten with a second-round knockout Saturday night in the main event at Barclays Center and fellow light welterweight Lamont Peterson also won his bout with a technical knockout.
Garcia (29-0, 17 KOs) flattened Rod Salka (19-4) with a left hook with 29 seconds left in the second round.
Peterson (33-2) retained his IBF light welterweight belt after the referee stopped his bout against Edgar Santana (29-5) with 11 second remaining in the 10th round.
On a potential future meeting with Peterson, Garcia said "if he wants it, I'll give it to him."
Also Saturday, Daniel Jacobs (28-1) beat Jarrod Fletcher (18-2) with a technical knockout in the fifth round to win the vacant WBA middleweight title.
