Kalenga wins interim WBA cruiserweight belt

Monte Carlo, Monaco (SportsNetwork.com) - France's Youri Kayembre Kalenga beat Poland's Mateusz Masternak in a 12-round split decision on Saturday to win the interim WBA cruiserweight title.
Two judges awarded the fight to Kalenga (20-1) by scores of 116-112 and 115-113 at Casino de Monte Carlo Salle Medecin.
The third judge gave the fight to Masternak (32-2) by a 115-113 score, his second loss in his last four bouts.
