Former WWE superstar Carlito says it was a Homecoming when he, his brother (Primo) and cousin (Epico) inducted his father, Carlos Colon, into the company’s Hall of Fame earlier this month during WrestleMania Weekend in New Orleans.
“It was good to go back and see old friends,” Carlito told The Roman Show. “It was an honor for me, my brother and cousin to induct my father into the Hall of Fame.”
Carlito will be part of CCW Spring Breakout on Saturday, April 19 at the Coral Springs Charter School Gym in (South Florida) Coral Springs
The Puerto Rican wrestler said the island is celebrating his father’s induction in style.
“I think they were going to do a parade,” he said. “The people were all excited about it.”
Carlito will be facing former WWE and ECW talent Pablo Marquez at CCW Spring Breakout.
“I wrestled him a long time ago,” he said. “I think I fought him in Puerto Rico or Miami. This time around we’ll know each other better. Compared to the last time I have more experience now.”
A picture oh him and Jeff and Karen Jarrett surfaced on the Internet.
The Jarretts are starting Global Force Wrestling. He said the photo did not signify that he was joining the company.
“I haven’t spoken to them,” he said. “We took a picture at Wrestlecon. I am open to whatever.”
Carlito will also be in action in South Florida on May 15 during the CWF Maximum Force show at Florida International University in Miami.
