WWE is returning to South Florida with a WWE house show (no TV) as part of its SummerSlam Heatwave Tour, featuring SmackDown superstars on Sunday, Aug. 13 at 5 p.m. at the AmericanAirlines Arena, home of the three-time NBA champion Miami Heat.
Speaking of the Heat, champions Shane Battier, Andy Elisburg and Miami’s own Udonis Haslem have attended WWE shows in South Florida.
Haslem, a three-time NBA champion with the Miami Heat, also starred in basketball at Miami Senior High School and the University of Florida.
A big WWE fan, he discusses in an audio interview his favorite wrestlers, why he likes it, if he ever thought about wrestling and more.

Haslem with his kids and nephews attends many WWE shows in South Florida, especially if they are at the AmericanAirlines Arena, the Heat’s basketball home in Miami. Hey, he has some connections for good seats at the AAA.
