If I’m on the mark with the Super Bowl pick, I’ll tie for my second-best playoff record straight up (I went 9-2 in 1997) and tie my best mark against the spread (was 8-3 in 2008).
The losses keep coming for the poor Miami Dolphins. Lost games, lost seasons, lost fans, lost image, lost stature. The latest loss: Jeff Fisher. Your football franchise has officially tumbled to a heretofore unfound nadir when it cannot even beat the woeful St. Louis Rams.

Took a big (and dubious) chance in thinking Falcons would win at Giants last week and paid for it. That is a pick that was ripe for second-guessing and a pick I wish I could have back. Thinking Steelers would beat Broncos? That is not a pick I’d take back. I had Denver covering the betting line, at least, salvaging a 3-1 Wild-Card Weekend mark against the spread at least. Now let’s get divisional!
