Sophomore Maria Ronderos and freshman Jennifer Hirano each fired 5-over-par 76s to finish in the top 25 and the University of Miami women's golf team finished in 12th place at the 2008 Starmount Fall Classic in Greensboro, N.C.

VOLLEYBALL

• Nova Southeastern d. Lynn, 25-21, 25-18, 25-23: The Sharks improve to to 16-5 overall and 5-2 in Sunshine State Conference play, and Lynn falls to 12-11 and 3-5.

• Northwood d. Florida Memorial, 25-23, 25-12, 25-9: The Lions fall to 1-8.
