Miami's home game against Wake Forest on Oct. 25 will kick off at noon. The game, to be broadcast on ESPNU, will be homecoming for the Hurricanes. UM's 3:30 p.m. game Saturday at Duke also will be on ESPNU.

BAILEY THRIVES ON DEFENSIVE LINE

Allen Bailey, who tore his pectoral muscle in the spring, broke out with two sacks Saturday against Central Florida. Bailey, a 6-4, 285-pound sophomore, came to UM as a linebacker and was converted to defensive end this season. He has 11 tackles in five games.

''He's just starting to get into the flow,'' Shannon said. ``He missed [fall] camp. He's still a little rusty, still sometimes plays hesitant. But when he doesn't, he's going full speed. This is still a new position for him.''
