Receiver Percy Harvin is still dealing with an ankle injury and could miss No. 11 Florida's showdown Saturday against No. 4 LSU.

Harvin practiced Wednesday for the first time this week but was limited, and coach Urban Meyer said he wouldn't be sure of Harvin's status until Friday.

Harvin leads Florida in receiving and touchdowns (five), and his absence would be tough to deal with against LSU's stingy defense, especially because running back Emmanuel Moody won't play because of a high ankle sprain.

Running back Kestahn Moore practiced and should resume his usual duties in pass blocking and on kickoff returns, and Meyer said guard Jim Tartt practiced but that Carl Johnson will start in his place for the second game.

Meanwhile, freshman defensive tackle Omar Hunter, who has been out for a week because of a sprained ankle, might be moving one step closer to a redshirt season. Hunter, a 6-0, 315-pounder, was expected to star on the interior this season, but he has played sparingly.

''He has had all kinds of health issues, but his attitude is great and he's working hard,'' Meyer said.
