Will Muschamp hinted at possible changes in the secondary during Florida’s open week, but the he isn’t ready to announce adjustments on a porous unit that spent most of the extra practices tinkering with various personnel combinations.
“We’re still working through that,” Muschamp said.
According to Muschamp, cornerback Brian Poole spent time inside at nickel while freshman defensive back Duke Dawson practiced at safety. First-year cornerbacks Jalen Tabor and Quincy Wilson practiced some with the first-team defense too.
“We’re just continuing to find the right combination,” Muschamp said. “We’ve got a whole week of practice, so we’ll make those decisions probably the later part of the week, probably Friday or Saturday.”
