Spring practice is right around the corner.
The University of Miami Hurricanes, fresh off a 10-3 season and the program’s first appearance in the ACC Championship Game, will open spring practice on March 20 and will play its spring game at 6 p.m. April 14 at Hard Rock Stadium. The spring game is the only session that will be open for public viewing.
The 15-practice spring football regiment will be the first chance for coach Mark Richt to take a look at the 10 early enrollees from his eighth-ranked recruiting class, including five-star running back Lorenzo Lingard, and will provide the Miami coaching staff a glimpse of its roster heading into the summer.
In addition to the spring game, there will be 12 practice sessions open to the media only.
The Hurricanes’ annual Pro Day for players heading into the NFL Draft is set for March 28.
