Transfers turning into NCAA’s free agent market

Over the past two springs, nearly 1,500 college basketball players have transferred. It is a trend that has been the hot-button issue among college coaches over the past several months. University of Miami coach Jim Larrañaga has benefited from the transfer market. The heart of his two UM Sweet 16 teams were transfers Shane Larkin and Kenny Kadji in 2013, and Angel Rodriguez, Sheldon McClellan and Kamari Murphy in 2016.
