Kratingdaenggym levels Dunne for super bantamweight title

The Sports Network

Thailand's Poonsawat Kratingdaenggym scored a third-round knockout of Ireland's Bernard Dunne to take the WBA super bantamweight title Saturday night.

Kratingdaenggym (39-1, 28 KOs) took away Dunne's belt with just three seconds remaining in the round and accomplished the feat on the ex-champ's home turf.

This was the second career title fight for Kratingdaenggym, who moved to 15-0 since 2006. He was coming off a ninth-round TKO of Rafael Hernandez on April 30.

Dunne (28-2) was making the first defense of his crown he captured over Ricardo Cordoba in an 11th-round KO in March.
