Redskins OL Williams to miss last game

Washington Redskins starting right guard Mike Williams will miss the team's final game of the season at San Diego on Sunday due to a foot injury.

Williams suffered the injury during the first half of the Redskins' 17-0 loss to the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday night. Will Montgomery played the remainder of the contest in place of Williams.

Montgomery, who started three games at right guard earlier this season, is likely candidate to start in place of Williams against the Chargers. However, Washington head coach Jim Zorn has yet make a decision on who will start at right guard.

Williams sisters' dad engaged to 30-year-old

Serena and Venus' father and manager Richard Williams, 67, is engaged to a 30-year-old woman.

Williams told Page2Live that he plans to marry Lakeisha Graham after the Sony Ericsson Open in Key Biscayne.

Dolphins lose Williams, Crowder

Miami Dolphins running back Ricky Williams and linebacker Channing Crowder both left Sunday's game against Houston because of injuries.

Crowder hurt his right foot on the second play from scrimmage and Williams appeared to suffer a shoulder injury during the third quarter. Williams did return for one play in the fourth quarter of Miami's 27-20 loss.

Williams became Miami's top running back after Ronnie Brown was lost for the season in mid-November because of a foot injury. The former NFL rushing champion had just 35 yards on 10 carries Sunday.

Kings RW Williams breaks right leg

Los Angeles Kings right wing Justin Williams broke his right leg in the first period of Saturday's 3-2 loss to Phoenix and had to be taken off on a stretcher.

At the 4:27 mark of the first period, Williams was behind the Phoenix net and was run into by Phoenix's Ed Jovanovski, who was avoiding a check from Anze Kopitar.

Both players wound up falling on Williams, who had his knee trapped underneath him. He remained on the ice and after a lengthy delay was taken out of the arena on a stretcher.
