San Antonio guard Tony Parker rolled his ankle in the second quarter of Friday's game against Portland.

Parker was driving at the top of the key when his left ankle turned awkwardly.

X-rays taken after the game were negative, but the Frenchman did not return to the game, which the Spurs eventually lost, 96-84.

In five games this year, Parker has averaged 14.8 points and four assists. The nine-year veteran played 72 games last year and logged a career-high 22 points per game to go with 6.9 assists, also a personal best.
