New York Yankees left fielder Johnny Damon left Game 6 of the World Series after three innings due to a pulled calf muscle.
The Yankees won't have to worry about if Damon will be available for a Game 7 though. There won't be one because the Yankees beat Philadelphia, 7-3, Wednesday night to capture their unprecedented 27th title.
Damon scored on Hideki Matsui's two-run single in the bottom of the third but was removed after the frame with New York ahead, 4-1. The Yankees sent Jerry Hairston Jr. into left field to start the top of the fourth.
