Joe Garcia toured the U.S. Department of Labor’s Homestead Job Corps Center on Tuesday and spoke with students pursuing th... eir education and obtaining career technical training in a variety of fields. The Homestead Job Corps Center, 12350 SW 285th St., is one of 125 Job Corps Centers nationwide administered by the U.S. Department of Labor. “Education and training is so imperative to the future success of our young people,” Garcia, D-Miami, said.
