But what Llaneras has been doing with his game the last three months or so has been truly remarkable and has the recently-graduated senior thinking big things when it comes to a future in golf.
With the heat and dog days of summer now upon us, three separate items a semi-bored editor feels like musing on starting with the amazing pe... rformance of former Miami Springs Little Leaguer and Virginia Gardens resident Kevin Fuentes who turned in a magnificent pitching performance in the Class 6A high school state championship game last month.
You may have seen Miami Springs resident Jim Matheis and his beautiful family running around town at the River Cities 5K or the annual Turke... y Trot, or maybe youve seen Matheis working out at the Community Center but the next place you can look for Matheis will be on a June 23 episode of NBCs American Ninja Warrior series, the heart-racing obstacle course competition which recently began its sixth season.
