Coral Reef's Munroe selects Georgia Tech
Malcolm Munroe, The Miami Herald's 15th-rated player in Miami-Dade county signed with Georgia Tech.
Munroe picked Georgia Tech over Georgia, Louisville, Clemson, Wisconsin, Auburn, Bostonc College, Wisconsin, and UM.
Munroe, a 6-3, 205-pound linebacker will play as an outside linebacker and might see some playing time as a strong safety.
Munroe picked Georgia Tech over Georgia, Louisville, Clemson, Wisconsin, Auburn, Boston College, North Carolina and UM because of a combination of the Yellow Jackets academics, coaching staff and campus.
It's ''beautiful'' Munroe said of the Georgia Tech Campus. ``It's like a city within a city.''
Linebacker Elezan Sandifer signed with North Carolina Central University.
