A: they filmed something near my apartment in south beach a few months ago....sent an actual car flying through the top floor of a parking garage, making it fall five stories to the street....i've done that several times there while drinkingSubmitted by Bartleby from Chicago
Q: Dan, what's your take on the Tony Kornheiser - Mike Wise smackdown in D.C. They have competing radio shows and Tony says that Mike doesn't have a right to criticize the Redskins because he hasn't been in town long enough. Sounds like sour grapes from Tony to me.
Answered 11/23/09 13:29:54 by Dan Le Batard
A: i always enjoy a good media purse swinging....met a young woman the other day who is a big kornheiser fan....had him call her for me....kornheiser as my wingman!....how great is that?Submitted by Josh from Cypress bay
Q: follow up to the Michael oher movie.....Ed Orgeron definitely stole the movie....
Answered 11/23/09 13:28:40 by Dan Le Batard
A: orgeron is kind of the reason that i laugh at this idea that coach x on one sideline is so much smarter than coach y ....the guy hung around long enough to get a head job and all i remember him doing at um is drinking and getting into bar fightsSubmitted by Ed from Nebraska
Q: I'm shocked that you like Dexter. It has a great premise, but it's acting and writing are so bad ( the dialog writing at least). All of the ancillary plotlines are brutal. As far as I'm concerned, AMC is making the best original series right now, with Mad Men, Breaking Bad, and the new Prisoner miniseries that just aired.

A: the bill simmons chats are so much better than mineSubmitted by DB from Philly
Q: I had the same reaction to Simmon's coulmn as you did. Were you surprised to see him ignoring the numerical facts? I certainly was.
Answered 11/23/09 13:23:52 by Dan Le Batard
A: he writes in the voice of the fan....and there are times -- and this is exceptional for his writing often -- that the emotion clouds the clinical.....malcolm gladwell wouldn't have written that columnSubmitted by Terry Gene Bollea from Tampa Fl
Q: Pro Wrestling is fixed? You know this as a fact or is it something you THOUGHT you read somewhere?
Answered 11/23/09 13:22:47 by Dan Le Batard
A: the other thing about belicheck that i couldn't understand is that, at WORST, it is a questionable and debateable decision....at worst.....there are arguments to be made on both sides of it....but the idea that conventional wisdom is so right that it is not possible at all to consider it is absurd....Submitted by Ed from Nebraska
Q: I've never been so frustrated by an issue as a sports fan than the reaction to the Belichick 4th and 2 play. I think Simmon's article, and the entire argument against Belichick's decision in general can be boiled down to one phrase " You don't do it, you just DON'T!". the "you just don't" argument has pissed me off since I was five years old and it was in the form of " Because I told you so". Anyway, I wanted to thank you Dan and your show, it's basically the only sports media I was able to listen to at the start of last week without going insane.

A: i think we're going to laugh in 20 years about how dumb we were about it....i think coaches will do it a lot more in the future when there are more math-inclined people in charge and fewer cavemenSubmitted by Brian Jones from Burlington, Ia.
Q: In Hollywood's defense, you still haven't answered why movies & tv and other fake things get covered, and as for ESPN and wrestling. Umm hello Dan they hired Jonathon Coachman, aka The Coach. And he was strickly WWE b4 that.

A: espn is always playing old wrestling on one of the channels....isn't that enough?....was gordon solie drunk when broadcasting? because i thought so as a kid....espn doesn't cover movies....he's asking for pro wrestling to be covered by espn....i love that this is the theme of today's chatSubmitted by Hoch's Wife from boca
Q: Why would anyone be surprised that Hoch has no sympathy for a drowned dog? Don't you remember he made me jump in the pool after ours?
Answered 11/23/09 13:19:01 by Dan Le Batard
A: true story....exec producer hoch didn't want a dog....wife wanted one....so he said, fine, it is your responsibility....dog jumped into pool and sank....she yelled for him to get it....he wouldn't....she had to jump in and save the dogSubmitted by Chuck Norris from Your Nightmares

Answered 11/23/09 13:17:28 by Dan Le Batard
A: i'm sure it is all over google.....just type in 'lebatard' and 'kosar'....if you can get here by internet, you can get there by internetSubmitted by Dan Mattox from Oakland, Ca
Q: I just read Simmons Friday column, thought it was funny how he used pretty much the exact same phrase as I did about the Belichick's 4th down choice.....it "should happen in video games only".....it's scary when I start thinking like that guy, though I definitely agree with his thoughts rather than your hoagieness.
Answered 11/23/09 13:16:34 by Dan Le Batard
A: started to read that column and couldn't.....didn't agree with any of it.....i'll never understand entering a discussion with "i don't care what the numbers say"....the numbers are there to help you understand what is happening....they aren't fake or biased....it was the better percentage play, what belicheck did....that's not up for negotiation....here's what i wish....that we could tivo time....stop time as belicheck is making the decision and get harrison and dilfer and bruschi to say right then what they think of the decision, before they have the result.....this seems like a really dumb way for me to use the superbowl of stopping timeSubmitted by Hollywood Davis from Bakersfield, Ca.
Q: So is the tv shows, & movies that get talked about day in, & day out. And there has always been rumors of fixing in boxing. yet they aren't ignored.
Answered 11/23/09 13:13:16 by Dan Le Batard
A: you really want pro wrestling covered by espn? this is one of the funnier requests we've gotten around here, which is covering some ground....i do believe in our lifetime, as ochocinco is showing, more pro athletes will do interviews the way wrestlers doSubmitted by BLEVINS! from Hungrytown
