Q: The football hungry South Florida fans need a Miami Northwestern ,Fort Lauderdale St Thomas Aquinas football showdown to feed their appitite, even if it is a postseason game. This game will be a big draw, it would have to be played at Sun Light stadium, because over 30,000 would attend, and national sports networks would most likely pick it up.

A: A top-end DL for the Class of 2012. One guy that sticks out is Norland running back Randy "Duke" Johnson. He's gonna be one of the best for that season. Watch out for Elgin Hilliard QB at Northwestern too.Submitted by chavis akins from homestead

A: I think Keith Baxter is one of the best defensive players in the county next season. He's a physical guy that can flatten receivers if they come his way. Akins and Williams should provide to solid bookends on a Homestead line that is among the best in the county next year.Submitted by deepdownsouth from goulds
Q: Just want to make a statement.. Coach Rodney Hunter would have had better success than the undefeated year Burrows had, if The AD did not give him a nasty schedule, knowing that the 2006 team graduated 39 seniors. If they played sunset, varela, ferguson and so on, they would have been successful. I think its sad to say and it is what it is, but Coach Hunter put more than 50 student athletes in school!!!

Q: why didnt freshman elmer olivares from miami springs senior high even get considered for cross country all dade? the young man was always in the top 5 in district races.. in gmac and districts he had asthma which he had to battle threw but he still didnt get any recognition?

Q: Any information about a sophomore shooting guard from Barbara Goleman named Stephanie Baez. She averaging 16 points per game and I've heard she's awesome in girls softball. I think she was named athlete of the week in the Herald for averaging 61 points in three games. Any rumors from scouts. keep your eye on her.
