A: Hankerson's younger brother is the leader of the team. They'll be a little better than last year, but the district is tough with nearly every team capable of beating the other on a given night.

A: I learned not to underestimate South Dade this season after they had some significant losses. They are still a very well-coached team that will get plenty of talent from the Homestead/South Dade area and should be a playoff contender barring any major staff changes.

A: The rule is if you leave the sideline, you get a 1-game suspension. Apparently, they all left the sideline.

A: It depends in what district they land when they re-shuffle everything next year. Right now, not a good chance with Norland and Belen in the district.

A: It's not their most talented team, I think that team last year, and maybe the one that lost to Lakeland that had Sam Young were 2 of their best. But this is one of their better teams in terms of how much they've gelled at the right time.

Q: Why do the herald dont say anything about krop football? They got talent too. Its like every year krop has to prove themselves. like last year, you guys said that krop wouldnt even win 2 games, but i guess that was wrong. They went to the third round of playoff's. Now, this year still we dont get the respect we deserve.

Q: I had no other choice but to select this place to ask this question. ALWAYS REPORTED: UM, FSU, UF, and recently in the past few years,FIU, FAU, USF, UCF. WHY NOT FAMU AND BCU? For the last 62 years that I have been a resident of Florida and interested in sports results, Ch.4, Ch.6, Ch.7, Ch.10 has NEVER issued sports results for Florida A&M Univ. (only when playing UM) nor Bethune-Cookman Univ. The latter, currently undefeated. Simply, WHY!!!????? Never a comment; never a mild mention! WHY!? Maybe The Miami Herald (on the back page of the classified ads) ....WHY??? WHY NOT FAMU AND BCU ?? FAIR NOTICE: Right here in Miami, FLORIDA MEMORIAL WILL SOON HAVE A FOOTBALL TEAM.....

Q: Im currently a senior at Miami Senior High. Our main sport is basketball..we actually have 19 state championships however as the years go by, the players keep getting either slower or smaller and many teams that we play have many big tall fast strong boys..so i would like to know if there is any possibility that we can win a state champ. withing the next 6 years?

Q: Andre, how come there were no liberos selected for the boys voleyball all-dade teams? Only 1 made it and that was on 3rd team, with no 1st or 2nd team selections. Normally liberos are included on the ballots.
