A former wanna-be clubkid in the late 80s NYC club scene heyday, she skipped town for Miami, where she's been since 1990--the so-called halcyon days of South Beach clubdom. While combing the scene definitely calls for lots of vitamins, under eye cream and Red Bull, the key ingredient to Lesley's undying energy is a daily bowl of gossip. In her scant spare time, she enjoys American Idol, karaoke and dive bars. She also writes travel books about the entire state of Florida, day and night. A: I like Bardot on any given night and comparing Vagabond to Louis and SET is like comparing the Kardashian sisters....sort of. I like Vagabond because it's got that indie Miami hipster vibe. A: if you're gonna do a night at f-bleau, i'd try arkadia and liv on the same night since they are in the same place and you may get antsy or overcrowded or something. also,watch for LIV overkill. Try something else like, say, SET, or even off the beach like Bardot. Very cool off the beach scene. mokai is fun again, so yes you can do actually Wall first and then Mokai. Or vice versa. A: Ha..well the major event going on in South Beach xmas eve is the Matzo Ball at LIV ,which, although primarily a hunting ground for Jews looking for love, is open to anyone with an open mind...:) If that's not your scene, I suggest a delightful hotel bar or dive bar which is always full of holiday spirit and spirits..:)Submitted by Debt Consolidation P from us

Q: Hi Lesley, First off, Let me be the first to wish you a Happy New Year! You will always remember that Al Poochino was the very first to wish you Happy New Year in 2011! I wondering if South Beach will ever consider have a nightclub for pets? Pets can mingle and have drinks at the doggie bar. Have bulldogs and pitbulls as bouncers. I think that would attract many people with pets and the owners could be dancing on the dancefloor they would just have watch out for poop on the floor. What do think? Do you think I'm nuts?
